The Australian Retail Store Entertainment Digital Revolution Starts Today…………..

 

Mediaport Entertainment (of Utah, USA) & NeoProducts Pty Ltd – NeoMedia Digital Entertainment Kiosks will be launched at Sanity Entertainment Fox Studios 15th February 2006.

 

The NeoMedia kiosks will set a new direction in entertainment media retailing.

 

The RETAiL Alert Group, a specialist retail marketing organisation, is assisting Mediaport and NeoProducts with the implementation, Australia wide, of this new and exciting technology.

 

Sanity – Virgin – HMV store customers will soon have access to hundreds of thousands of quality, legal music tracks on demand as the NeoMedia Kiosks are rolled out throughout the  Sanity Entertainment Stores,  Virgin Stores and  HMV Stores during the next few years.

 

It is proposed that the NeoMedia Kiosk will deliver DVD and Video Content on demand followed by games and e-books in future releases of the Kiosk.

 

Sanity Entertainment Stores will be the first retailer in Australia to deliver Digital industry approved music content on demand for burning to CD’s and downloading to portable music devices through a retail shop floor through the NeoMedia Kiosks. This is an amazing achievement for an Australian Specialty Retailer.

 

The Mediaport/NeoProducts – NeoMedia Digital Entertainment Kiosk shown at Sanity Entertainment Fox Studios is the start of the retail entertainment shop floor revolution.

The NeoMedia Kiosk will become as significant to the Australian Entertainment Retail Industry as are the thousands of Photo Print Kiosks now in use throughout the Australian Retail Store Photography Industry (many supplied by NeoProducts Pty Ltd).

The success of the Media Port/NeoProducts – NeoMedia Digital Entertainment Kiosks will follow the enormous customer acceptance of the Photo Print Kiosks. The customer today has shown a willingness to accept self service as the preferential purchase mechanism in an ever increasing number of applications.

 

It is intended to have NeoMedia Digital Entertainment Kiosks installed in Sanity – Virgin – HMV stores.

From October 1999 to now  Standley has evaluated many entertainment kiosks looking for a retail hardened solution to suit the Australian and Asia Pacific market. The chosen solution the Mediaport Digital Entertainment ATM Kiosk manufactured in Australia by NeoProducts.

 

Standley says that considering The RETAiL Alert Group chose Mediaport Entertainment Inc and NeoProducts Pty Ltd to deliver the NeoMedia kiosks for BRAZIN as late as May 2005, it is a credit to BRAZIN, NEO, Mediaport and the Australian Entertainment Industry that the NeoMedia Digital Entertainment Kiosks have been delivered to the Australian market in record time.

 

He states that The RETAiL Alert Group is delighted to have been given the responsibility of managing Mediaport’s and NeoProducts expansion plans for the NeoMedia kiosks throughout the Asia/Pacific region (including Australia).
